Operation steps

1.1 Specimen preparation
1.1 The specimen and the standard rubbing cloth should be humidified in a constant temperature and humidity environment.
1.2 When the specimen has multiple colors, all colors should be rubbed to.
1.3 If the area of various colors is large enough, the sample must be taken separately.
1.4 Cut the sample, respectively, dry rubbing and wet rubbing, should ensure that the rubbing to all the colors.
1.5 If the front and back of the sample is made of different materials, colors, front and back to do rubbing color fastness test.
1.6 Do dry, wet rubbing fastness should not be repeated in the same part of the specimen.
2. Dry rubbing
2.1 The specimen will be laid flat on the abrasive instrument with sandpaper, so that the length direction of the specimen and the direction of the dynamic range of the instrument and fix the specimen in the pressure plate, the clamp sample should be flat.
2.2 Fix the standard abrasive small white cloth on the abrasive head, clamp with spring clip, and put the abrasive head lightly on the specimen
2. 3 should ensure that the specimen does not slide or wrinkle when rubbing.
2.4 Place the friction head on the specimen. Turn on the power and turn on the POWER button. Set the number of tests.
2.5 Press the START key to start the test. When the number of tests reaches the set value, the instrument automatically stops
2.6 Remove the standard rubbing white cotton cloth and use the colorimetric card for comparison rating.

3. Wet rubbing
3. 1 completely wet the standard rubbing small white cloth in distilled water.
3．2 Remove and squeeze it in the filter paper so that it has a certain water content.
3. 3 The remaining steps are the same as the above dry rubbing test steps.

4. Results processing
4.1 Before grading, use transparent glue to gently stick away the loose lint on the white cloth.
4.2 Use three layers of unused rubbing white cloth under the rubbing white cloth to be evaluated, refer to the standard staining gray card to evaluate the staining grade of the rubbing white cloth.
